Google is bringing a new kind of fitness tracker to India. The Google Fitbit Air will go on sale from 2 October 2026, priced at ₹13,999.
Unlike a regular smartwatch or fitness band, Fitbit Air does not have a screen. Google has designed it for people who want 24/7 health and activity tracking without constant notifications on their wrist.
The Fitbit Air is also Google’s smallest and lightest Fitbit tracker, with a compact pebble-style design that should make it comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and while sleeping.

Google Fitbit Air Price in India
The Google Fitbit Air price in India is ₹13,999.
It will be available in four colour options:
- Obsidian
- Berry
- Lavender
- Fog
Sales begin on 2 October 2026 through the Google Store and major retailers such as Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales, along with other retail partners.
A Fitness Tracker Without a Screen
One of the most interesting things about the Fitbit Air is that there is no display.
Instead of checking notifications, steps or health data directly on the tracker, users can view detailed information through the Google Health app on their smartphone.
This makes Fitbit Air more like a discreet health tracker rather than another smartwatch competing for your attention.
For people who already spend enough time looking at screens, this approach could make sense.
Google Fitbit Air Health Tracking Features
Despite its small size, the Fitbit Air packs several sensors for tracking health and activity.
It offers continuous 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, along with resting heart rate and heart rate variability tracking.

The wearable can also provide irregular heart rhythm or Afib notifications.
Sleep tracking is another important feature. Fitbit Air can monitor sleep duration and different sleep stages, while the lightweight design is meant to make it comfortable to wear through the night.
It also supports blood oxygen or SpO2 tracking.
Automatic activity detection is included as well, with the system learning and adapting to the user’s routine over time.
Google Health Coach Integration
Fitbit Air works with Google Health Coach, which uses information collected from the tracker to provide personalised suggestions and daily guidance.
Users can automatically log workouts and follow guided workout sessions.
There is also an interesting feature where users can take a photo of gym equipment or their workout routine and use it to quickly log the activity.
The idea is to turn the health data collected by Fitbit Air into useful daily habits rather than simply showing charts and numbers.
Up to 7 Days Battery Life
Battery life is another major highlight.
Google claims the Fitbit Air can last up to seven days on a single charge.
Fast charging is supported as well. According to Google, just five minutes of charging can provide enough battery for an entire day.
That should be particularly useful for a wearable designed to stay on the wrist almost all the time.
Three Different Band Options
Google is offering the Fitbit Air with an interchangeable pebble design.
Three band styles are available.
Performance Loop Band
The Performance Loop Band is included in the box. It is lightweight, breathable and made using recycled materials.
Active Band
The Active Band is made using sweat-resistant silicone and is aimed more at workouts and high-intensity training.
Elevated Modern Band
The Elevated Modern Band has a more premium design for users who want to wear the Fitbit Air throughout the day without making it look too much like a fitness accessory.

Fitbit Air Focuses on Tracking Without Distractions

Instead, the focus is on continuous health tracking, sleep monitoring, activity detection and personalised guidance while keeping the wearable small and discreet.
At ₹13,999, the Google Fitbit Air will be available in India from 2 October 2026.
