A fitness band with built-in GPS, a bright AMOLED display and an aluminium body for under Rs 6,000? The Huawei Band 11 Pro is now listed at Rs 5,799, down from Rs 8,999 during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026.
That is a 36% discount on a slim fitness tracker with independent GPS and a 2000-nit screen. But before buying, Indian users should pay attention to the Huawei Health app experience.

Huawei Band 11 Pro Premium Aluminium Design
Most affordable fitness bands use plastic cases. The Huawei Band 11 Pro instead has a CNC-cut aluminium alloy case measuring just 8.99mm thick. The slim, light design could appeal to people who find bulky smartwatches uncomfortable during workouts or sleep.
1.62-Inch AMOLED Display With 2000 Nits Brightness
The 1.62-inch AMOLED display has a 60Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 2000 nits of brightness. Huawei says the display area is 27% larger, giving notifications, fitness statistics and watch faces more room.
High brightness is useful for checking workout information outdoors in strong sunlight.
Built-in GPS for Running and Cycling
Unlike fitness bands that need a phone for location data, the Band 11 Pro supports independent GNSS positioning. GNSS means Global Navigation Satellite System, which uses satellite signals to calculate location.
That allows the band to track outdoor routes, distance and speed while running or cycling. Some buyers report that acquiring a satellite position can occasionally take longer than expected.
100+ Workout Modes and Advanced Health Tracking
The Huawei Band 11 Pro supports over 100 workout modes, including running, cycling, yoga and strength training. It also tracks heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep and emotional wellness metrics.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) measures variations in the time between heartbeats and can provide insight into recovery and stress patterns. Fitness tracking data should not be treated as a medical diagnosis.
For comparison, the Google Fitbit Air fitness tracker also focuses on health insights, but uses a screenless design rather than an AMOLED display.
Huawei Band 11 Pro Battery Life
Huawei claims up to 14 days of battery life under light use and up to 8 days under regular use. Actual endurance depends on GPS sessions, display settings and monitoring frequency.
In buyer reviews, some users report four to five days with frequent GPS tracking, while others get around a week. For a different take on long-endurance outdoor wearables, see the Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar.
Huawei Health App in India: The Main Catch
Several Indian buyers report difficulty installing the Huawei Health app on Android because it is not available through the Google Play Store. Some also mention problems with Huawei ID registration or OTP verification on Indian mobile numbers.
Other customers report successful setup and use with Samsung phones. Before buying, confirm that Huawei Health can be installed and that registration and pairing work with your own phone.
Huawei Band 11 Pro Customer Reviews
Most buyers praise the metallic appearance, display and GPS features, but report mixed results with connectivity and step-count accuracy.
| What buyers like | Reported drawbacks |
|---|---|
| Premium metal case | App installation and registration issues |
| Built-in GPS | Occasional slow GPS lock |
| Bright AMOLED screen | Mixed step-count accuracy |
| Compact design | GPS-heavy battery life varies |
| Useful fitness insights | App functionality limitations in India |
A customer also reports no built-in microphone or speaker for Bluetooth calls. This is primarily a fitness tracker rather than a calling smartwatch.
