Honda QC3 Range, Battery and Charging Time

The Honda QC3 comes with a 3.0 kWh battery and offers a certified 145 km IDC range.

IDC stands for Indian Driving Cycle. It is a standard test used for calculating the certified range of a vehicle.

Real-world range can be different depending on traffic, speed, rider weight, weather and riding style.

Charging the battery from zero to 80 percent takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes. A complete charge takes approximately four hours.

Honda CB500 Gets a 501cc Single-Cylinder Engine

Here’s why this matters. The new Honda CB500 is manufactured in India and uses a 501cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with an oil cooler.

Honda is positioning it as a heritage roadster combining classic motorcycle styling with modern rider technology.

The motorcycle gets all-LED lighting and an analogue-digital instrument cluster.

Honda CB500 Features

Honda has equipped the CB500 with several modern riding features.

It gets Honda Selectable Torque Control, an assist and slipper clutch, Honda RoadSync and front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

Honda Selectable Torque Control works like a traction-control system. It can help control rear-wheel slip when accelerating on slippery or low-grip roads.

An assist and slipper clutch can make the clutch lever easier to operate while also helping keep the rear wheel stable during aggressive downshifts.

Honda Is Targeting Three Very Different Buyers

Consider this. Honda has announced pricing for products targeting completely different types of two-wheeler buyers at the same time.

The Honda QC3 focuses on urban electric mobility with a 145 km certified range, 32-litre storage and connected features.

The Honda CB500 is aimed at motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a bigger engine, roadster styling, traction control and modern rider-assistance features.

The refreshed CB350 range keeps the same mechanical package but gives buyers more colour and styling choices.

Those planning to get riding gear for the CB500 or CB350 can also check motorcycle helmets, motorcycle riding gloves and Honda CB350 accessories.
